Grainne Martin Training was established in response to the need for expert to expert training in the Recruitment Industry. Grainne has worked within the recruitment industry for two decades, graduating from Trinity College Dublin and joining Computer People in London 1986. She was part of the company's development from a highly successful private company to flotation and PLC status in 1988. Later, Computer People developed through successful acquisitions until finally it was taken over by the giant of the recruitment industry, Adecco Group .

Grainne always stayed loyal to the specialist brands , specifically in IT with Computer People. In 1995 she established the Irish base and set up regional offices in Dublin, Cork and Belfast. During the boom time Grainne responded to market demands and saw an opening for two new specialist staffing services in Finance and Pharmaceutical, these businesses operated under the Ajilon Group banner, Ajilon Finance and Ajilon Pharmecutical. Following a successful corporate career and understanding how smaller brands fit into a huge organisation ,as well as having built up several businesses from scratch, Grainne offers a unique advisory and training experience. Whether you are an inexperienced recruiter or a highly experienced owner/manager Grainne can lend her experience and will bring creative and innovative ideas and solutions.

As a FETAC qualified trainer and a Certified Workplace Mediator she offers a unique service with an unusual skill mix. She has also worked with the NRF for the past 5 years and has been instrumental in the development of their Certificate in Recruitment Practice and education program. Grainne's experience and ability to communicate in a practical way instils confidence and motivates people to be responsible for their own success. For the HR industry, Grainne provides a programme for Conflict Resolution and Workplace Mediation.

Mediation is the process in which an impartial and independent third party facilitates communication where conflict has arisen. All parties go into mediation voluntarily. The Mediator assists communication and negotiation and promotes voluntary decisions and solutions and assists all parties to reach a mutually acceptable outcome. For the candidate an Out Placement service advising on CV writing, Career choice and options, How to choose your agent, Personal Development and Qualifications as well as interview technique. GMT offers a rounded services to all stakeholders in the recruitment business...
